2011 Ford Focus Review

April 15th, 2010 Leave a comment Go to comments

The 2011 Ford Focus does not promise to give a fresh look as it does involve major changes. Though the 2008 model of Ford Focus involved a lot of changes but the interior design seems to have been outdated.  The electric version of the Ford will be released in North America by the mid of 2010 and it has already created excitement among the crowd because of its fuel saving efficiency. The regular Focus is expected to be launched by the Fall 2010 which will include only a minor enhancement of interior features over the last year’s model and perhaps a little more space in the car’s interior. For specifications read below

Interior Features

The ambient lighting in the interiors of the 2011 model Ford  Focus adds a high tech and cool look to the cabin. It is though very unfortunate to have cheap material being used for making the gauges and the knobs. Long drives around the town are made comfortable with the high levels of focus. It provides enough capacity for the luggage by pulling up the split seats. The Sync system of the Ford is voice-activated and is very handy in navigation and controlling other electronic devices such as iPods and mobile phones.

Competitors

The major competitors for the 2011 Ford Focus are the Hyundai Elantra, Honda Civic, Kia Forte and the Volkswagen Golf. All the four competitors have comparable performance as the Ford and offer higher interior quality.

I have a 2008 Focus and just purchased a 2011 Focus. Affordability and great gas mileage are both major attributes for this car. Very happy with both cars. Easy to drive, easy to park and a good car. My linebacker sized son fits in this car really well. Let’s keep America working. Buy american folks.
