2011 Jeep Wrangler Review and Prices

About 2011 Jeep Wrangler

The Jeep Wrangler model first emerged into the scene in 2007 and has gone larger and more refined as compared to the first generation models. It was the quintessential niche vehicle and has managed to stand its ground when it comes to becoming the top off-road vehicle choice. Thus, the 2011 Jeep Wrangler is in for some wringing as expectations are quite high. Does it live up?

During the recent versions of this model that was released into the market, what the manufacturers are attempting to do is come up with a more civilized edition. The four-door body style is retained but die-hard fanatics of the Jeep must not worry about the style becoming rather too ‘soft’ for their taste. The 2011 Jeep Wrangler will remain consistent to the model’s purpose of offering a vehicle suited for rugged off-road capability.

There are several ways in which the 2011 Jeep Wrangler has achieved that and it begins with style. The age old features for the vehicle body remains intact, such as the compact body dimensions, steep approach to the design, departure angles, high ground clearance, and a four-wheel drive system. The style for this year’s edition of the Wrangler is therefore aggressive and is very popular among hardcore off-road drivers.

There are three basic choices for trim levels: bare bones X, serious off-road vehicle Rubicon, and the midlevel Sahara. The Rubicon is the most notable of all the three trim level choices due to its addition of extra-low gearing locking front and rear, as well as its use of heavy duty axles. There are also notable changes done to the interiors of the 2011 Jeep Wrangler such as a more quiet cabin, comfortable seating capacity, and addition of luxury interior features like power windows, navigation system, and sound system.

In terms of engine, the base model will come with the 2.5-liter inline-4 engine that can produce up to 120 horsepower. The more advanced off-road trim levels offer either the 4.0-liter inline-6 engine with max of 190 hp or the 4.0-liter six engine. There are two choices available for the transmission: five-speed manual and three-speed automatic.

Who wrote this story about the Wrangler??? So many facts are WRONG….they dont come in a 2.5 4 cyc….the x model is not made for 2011..it’s called the sport….power windows and locks and nav and several other luxury items aren’t new for 2011….they have been available on rubicon and x model since 2007 and standard on the Sahara….and the Sahara is not the mid, it has all the bells and whistles with color matched fenders, color match hard top and oh yeah full size doors are standard….the interior on Sahara has upgrade trim etc etc etc…get your facts right

FYI the sahara is the mid level trim because the Rubicon is the ultimate ATV. it has much better off road capabilities compared to the Saharah.
