2012 Honda S3000

As of now, there are only rumors as to what this car will look like, what the MPG will be, and the features that it is going to have. The 2012 Honda S3000, which will be the successor to the S200, may be a rear-wheel car. The company is being very close mouthed about what is going to be under the hood. One of the rumors that is going around is that Honda may equip with a V-6 engine but in all probability, it will be a 2.2-2.5 liter inline-4.

There are some pictures online that show what the 2012 Honda S3000 will look like and from the looks of the car it is borrowing design cues from CR-Z concept cars and the Open Study Model but will remain true to its lightweight tight proportions and lightweight construction. The one thing that they do know is that this car is going to be more competitive in terms of comfort and style.

The 2012 Honda S3000 predecessor, the Honda S2000 had not been a real success because of the turn off to potential buyers in regards to the car’s manual gearbox. They are hoping with this new S3000 may offer a paddle-shift gearbox to make it more appealing to the buyer.

Hondas, in general, are a good car with great MPG. On the average, the city MPG of 25 and more and on the highway, the MPG can range from 36 and more. When hybrid cars first came on the market, Honda took an early leadership then hit a few bumps in the road. They discontinued the Honda Accord Hybrid and Honda Insight in 2006 but in 2009 they came back with the second generation of the Honda Insight.

They have a great fuel strategy in regards to their cars. They have hybrids for their small cars and diesel engines for their larger engines.
