ASUS G53SW-XR1 Laptop Review

ASUS is nowadays coming up with various new model notebooks and there is one more new model credited to their list as ASUS G53SW-XR1. This laptop is powered through the latest Intel Core i7 2630QM processor which is of Quad-Core technology. This laptop can support Memory Stick Pro and MultiMedia Card too. This laptop is also credited with one 2-megapixel webcam for video chats over the internet. All these features along with a powerful processor making this laptop a best sought after one in the market.

Intel Core i7 2630 QM Processor Details:

Starredreviews has been informing about Sandy Bridge processors for a long time and the Intel Core i7-2630QM processor that powers the ASUS G53SW-XR1 comes under this the category of Sandy Bridge. This processor is a quad core processor too and clocked at 2.0 GHz. Sandy Bridge processor’s architecture is quite famous for substantial improvement over the well known Arrandale architecture. Integrated graphics is the most improved area with these Sandy Bridge processors. In this processor the mentioned integrated graphics and CPU are built in 32nm technology. Earlier with Arrandale architecture the memory controller and graphics units were built on 45nm die.

    My XR1 has bluetooth, I got it from Microcenter and it came with bluetooth stock. I don’t know which version you got, but it seems like you got the short end of the stick.
