Blogspot, owned by Google has become one of the source of copyright infringement. So how do you file the complaint against someone who has copied your content and posted it on blogspot.
Google has made it easy for you to file DMCA complaint. You can go through the complaint form .
You will need to provide your name and email address. You will be required to post a sample of your copyrighted material, which is the url of the content from where the content is copied. You then need to post the urls where the copied content has been posted. You may post more than one url.
If you have hundreds of urls copied, it may get complicated for you. In such case you may give few samples of the copied content google will likely remove the whole url.
Notice that reporting the problem usually works only when the content is copied as it is. If the wordings are changed, google may or may not be able to work on your complaint.

It looks like Panda gives weightage to sites that makes users stick to it. As a result a we have started seeing a lot of authority sites with spammy content. Facebook notes is one of them. As we all know facebook has authority if the time spent on a website and the number of pages is takes as the metrics for the measurement of the authority.
Spammers are taking advantage of this fact and spilling spams on facebook notes. They copy the contents from amazon and other websites and post it on amazon notes and get ranked. Fortunately the only way to make money on facebook is by offering affiliate link. For example a large number of these spams have affiliate links to the amazon.
As an example search for the following term on google.
Toshiba Satellite L655-S5161
The page from facebook notes is on position 10 at the time of writing. The search being conducted in US. The resulted search page is at
http://www.facebook.com/notes/best-shop-24/black-friday-toshiba-satellite-l655-s5161-156-inch-led-laptop-grey-deals-2011/291976934161101
The contents of this page has most of its content taken from amazon’s description of the product. Obviously the content was written only for the search engine with little intention of benefiting the reader in any way.
The bigger problem with panda is that the content scraped from sites hit by Panda rank higher. Let us say this topic is posted with the following keyword in mind.
“Post Panda facebook notes is host to spam”.
Now if I post the same content as it is on google webmaster forum, it will rank higher for the term “Post Panda facebook notes is host to spam”.
And if that happens, this something that needs to be fixed by Google. More clearly there are at least three issues that google needs to fix
1. A webpage scraped from a low quality and posted on a higher authority site – ranks higher on a higher authority site.
2. If a content is very high quality – it does not rank higher if it is on a low authority, panda hit site.
3. Even if a content is very poor in quality it can rank higher if posted on a high authority site.
If google can fix these three issues, I think every one will appreciate it. Many webmasters are unhappy with the way google has handed punishment across the board bringing down a whole website instead of working on a page by page basis.
To look at an example of how spam works on a high authority site, I would like to quote Avinash Kaushik, who has posted it on his google plus at https://plus.google.com/105279625231358353479/posts/c5CvMQDbcPS.
Avinash kaushik searched for rs 160 review to read up on how good the Sennheiser wireless headphones were.
Here is what he says -
“Got a bunch of nice results. Sixth or seventh is this one: http://reviews.cnet.com/headphones/sennheiser-rs-160-headphones/4505-7877_7-34045943.html
Page Title? “Sennheiser RS 160 Review – Headphones – CNET Reviews”. What would you expect on that page?
First text on that page: We have not reviewed this product but here is CNET’s buying advice on Headphones.
Complete scam by Cnet just to attract traffic form Google (and deliver zero value content AND a bunch of affiliate links).
Shameful to see a noted brand stoop to delivering irrelevant content and disappointing readers, and to see that Google does not rank them on page 900 instead of page 1.”
I would let you find examples of the other category. All comments are welcome.
Comments are often more powerful than the original topic, and while going through a CNN article professing the Doctors’ patient contact, I got a chance to see the following comment from some one who chose to nickname himself KidDoc – possibly a Paediatrics.
“We DO want to spend more time with the patients and families, but are not give the chance. I am in a university hospital, and we are REQUIRED to put everything in the electronic record, which slows us down tremendously- the system sucks- freezes frequently, not intuitive…. If we do not see enough patients or if our patients do not show up (so we cannot bill them) we have to return part of our salary to the hospital- and this salary is SIGNIFICANTLY lower than what we would make in private practice. I have already figured out that I make less per hour than a plumber (I am not kidding- I pay a plumber $75 an hour to fix my toilet, and I don’t get anywhere near that)… and this is after 4 years college+ 4 years med school + over 7 years of residency training in a specialty to treat very sick children. The paperwork keeps increasing, and I don’t get a penny for filling any of that out. You think your doc spent 5 minutes on you or your child? No, it was probably over 30, but you did not see the time ordering tests, reviewing test results, reviewing dictations, writing a letter to the insurance company or filling out forms you need for work or school, and doing a few other things…. I want to talk more with the patients, but with loans and other bills, I can’t afford to take even more of a pay cut.”
That brings us to the real problem – The electronification of the medical record was supposed to make the system more efficient. It seems to be doing the reverse. The doctors are forced to enter all the records into electronic systems which takes up a huge lot of their time, slowing the doctors down and eventually leading to inefficiency.
The electronic records are useful if these are going to be used by other doctors. It helps speedier access to the patient information. However, let us say, only 5% of these records are change hand between doctors we are investing in the inefficiency in the 95% of the electronic records that are never going to be exchanged between doctors.
Is there a solution ? I can think of one. The instrument that records the patients’ physiological parameters should upload the data AUTOMATICALLY, without the intervention of the doctor. Let us say we have a Blood pressure monitor that records patient data. The doctor or the nurse should use thumb scan to record the patients identity just before taking his reading. The patients BP data gets uploaded to the server – no hassle no record keeping required by doctor or nurse.
Of course, the doctor still needs to enter his observations and there going by the comment of the doctor the solution is not going to be simple or straightforward.
And I am not alone when I say this. The President of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters – James Hoffa called Apple called Apple “unpatriotic” – for placing jobs overseas instead of in America – Check it out here – http://www.rawstory.com/rawreplay/2011/09/union-leader-apple-is-unpatriotic/. Hoffa is clear when he says that when the tech giant does something, “They do it in China, they do it somewhere else.
Apple sold 18.65 million phones in Q2, 2011. We can therefore assume that the total number of iPhones sold would be of the order of 70 millions in one year. Apple sold 3.76 million Macs (28% increase), 9.02 million iPods and 4.69 million iPads during Q2.
Source : http://www.gottabemobile.com/2011/04/20/apple-sold-18-65-million-iphones-in-q2-2011/
In total Apple is making close to 100 million products each year. Just assume all of its products were assembled in US, and the amount of the job it would have created in US. It is not and overestimate when we say that Apple could create close to 200,000 assembly jobs if all the products were assembled in US ( Assuming assembly of one product takes half man day).
Of course the basic problem with this assumption is the half man day in US assembly will cost close to $80 per product, which will eat up Apple’s profit – something Apple is un willing to do. And for this reason, Apple is an unpatriotic company.
The 200,000 jobs could further expand with ripple effect, as it will put more money in the pockets of the people with will generate at least additional 200,000 jobs when people spend this money. We still have not considered the jobs that could have been created by way of the components that are required for the assembly. We still assume that most of the components will be sourced from the low cost countries including China and Taiwan.
Next time if you are unemplyed, do not blame Obama, blame it to Jobs and his company Apple Inc.
It IS possible to covert the PADS powerPCB file into Allegro brd file. There is no straightforward similar procedure for converting Allegro brd file to PADS file. Allegro is more sophisticated in terms of database and there may not be corresponding entities in the PADS.
So here is the procedure to Convert PADS file into Allegro brd file.
1. Open pads powerpcb ( PADS layout) and open the file that you want to convert to allegro file.
2. Click on File and then click Export.
3. This will export the file in ascii format. Save the file a known location.
4. Open the PCB Editor in the Allegro.
5. Click on File -> Import -> Pads. It should look something similar to
6. The first and the last field should be straight forward. Enter the ascii file name in the first list and the file that you want to export in the second field. Give any arbitrary name in the second field.
7. Click Run. This should give you an exported file. Open that file and allegro to see it looks meaningful.
