Dell N4030-223B3D review – Pentium P6200 laptop

Dell N4030-223B3D is a 14 inch notebook powered by Intel’s dual core P6200 processor clocked at 2.13 GHz. It comes with 4GB RAM and 320 GB Hard Disk. Dell N4030-223B3D can be categorized as an entry level notebook with more than enough power for your daily computing needs including web surfing, emails, spreadsheet and documents. You should also be able to run most software without feeling slow down. However, the Pentium P6200 is not a high end processor by today’s answer. It is based on the same architecture as the core i3 with hyperthreading disabled. It does inherit some of the merits of the core i3 series, including a large 3 MB L3 cache, integrated memory controller and integrated graphics controller.

Dell N4030-223B3D comes with DVD burner. It also comes with most other features that you will expect in an entry level notebook including Webcam, wired and wireless internet connectivity. The connectivity options include 3 USB 2.0 ports and 5 in 1 media card reader.

The display is powered by the Intel HD graphics – it is something built into the Pentium P6200 and has decent graphics but is not good enough for gaming.

The Dell N4030-223B3D comes with Windows 7 Home Premium Edition ( Most notebooks today come preinstalled). It also comes with many software pre installed including McAfee Security Center trial version. You may like to uninstall it and install some of the free Anti Virus software including AVG Anti Virus.

Dell N4030-223B3D is a decent entry level notebook, but look for prices and shop around before buying.

Yesterday, while I was at work, my sister stole my apple ipad and
tested to see if it can survive a thirty foot drop, just
so she can be a youtube sensation. My iPad is now broken and
she has 83 views. I know this is entirely off topic but
I had to share it with someone!
