How to Delete Browsing History on the iPad in Safari

You are always concerned about your privacy, whether you are using the Windows or the iPad. It can be an embarrassing moment for you, if someone catches your browing history that you may have on your iPad. The first thing you must always assume is that anyone can tap in your browsing history. Think of who could potentially check your browsing history, and, if you think it can lead to an embarrassing situation you can do one of the two things- either do not browse that particular url or if you do browse that url, make sure you delete the history when you are done with it.

iPad uses safari browser. So this note applies to the safari browser in the iPad. Let us take a quick look at how to delete the browsing history in the iPad that uses safari.


Step 1. Click on the Safari icon to tap it.
Step 2. On the safari toolbar click on the Bookmarks icon to tap it.
Step 3. Tap on the clear History button by clicking it. It is located on the right top corner of the pop screen.
Step 4. Confirm the deletion by clicking on the Clear History button.

This will clear your browsing history on the iPad. Do it everytime you visit your private url, that you do not wish other to peep.
