I dont think there is a universal data about it. The Platform number is station specific and you shuld call the local enquiry ( Typically 139) about it.

Some local yellow book in India or calenders publish this data.

Also note that platform number sometimes change at the last moment.

The standard procedure followed is look out for the platform identification boards and frequent announcements. Check out at the enquiry counter and look up yellow pages. Mobile phoning and searching just a dial services might help.

If the train is originating from a station, its platform number is fixed. Unfortunately Indian Railways does not publish this data. 99% of the time the trains come on the same platform. but this default platform number is not published.

Do not forget the mess up that was created few years ago when platform number was changed in the last moment creating havoc and death of passengers trying to rush to the new platform at the last moment.
