For 49 dollars ( walmart offer) if you can get a device which can print, scan and also can be used as a photocopier wont you be interested. Hewlett Packard or HP is the American based Digital electronics giant who for a price of 49 dollars ( walmart offer) launched this all in one printer named, HP Deskjet 2050 All-in-One Printer. This has all the capabilities that fits everyone’s needs, Scanner, printer and photocopier these are three different features of the same device. The print speed offered by this printer is 20 pages per minute for grey scale content and for color content is 16 pages per minute.

HP Deskjet 2050 All-in-One Printer is energy star certified, since the power consumption needs meets the energy star requirements. The cartridges that are supported by this printer is HP 61 XL black ink cartridges, HP 61 and HP 61 XL tri color ink cartridges. The direct print feature is supported by this printer and also this direct print feature is made available through USB 2.0 cable connectivity. The copier’s performance varies in accordance with the type and nature of the document that is copied. The scan capabilities is like 1200 x 1200 dots per inch. The printer’s input sheet capacity is 50 pages and the output tray capacity is 30 sheets.

HP Deskjet 2050 All-in-One Printer can support different media types such as plain paper, photo paper, inkjet paper and glossy paper. Envelopes and index cards can also be printed in the printer. The printer is compatible with Windows operating system and Mac OS operating systems too. The windows flavor supported are the following windows XP home edition and professional edition, windows vista both 32 bit and 64 bit, windows XP tablet PC edition and also the latest windows 7 too. The Max OS versions that are compatible with this printer is Max OS X v 10.5.8 and v 10.6. There are no wireless features that are available in this printer, two sided printing is also not in place either.

There are no memory card slots or LCD screen supported by this printer. The 4 x 6 color photo printing feature is supported by this printer. The maximum working temperature of 104 degrees Fahrenheit and the minimum operating temperature required for this printer is 41 degrees Fahrenheit. The power consumed by HP Deskjet 2050 All-in-One Printer during printing is 10 watts, when it is in standby is 2.5 watts. There is also sleep mode support available in this printer during sleep mode the power consumed is 1.28 watts. The copying speed is 20 pages per minute for mono color content and for colored content it is 16 pages per minute. The maximum copies that can be done by this printer is 10. The input tray capacity is 60 sheets and output tray capacity is 30 sheets. This is cheap all in one solution for every users needs.

    I purchased the hp deskjet 2050 and my scanner makes a dragging sound…took it back to Wallmart. They scanned it and I purchased it may 15..and didn’t want money back just want another printer.But was told I couldn’t..had to go through the company…is it possible that I could get a 1-800 number where I can call and get this taken care of…thank you..
