HP DV6-4007TX becomes one of the first notebooks powered by Intel Core i7-2630QM, a quad core processor with a clock frequency of 2.0 GHz. The Core i7-2630QM also support turbo boost and its frequency can increase to 2.8 GHz in turbo mode.

Notice that the Core i7-2630QM processor has a decent graphics performance with its integrated graphics. However, the HP DV6-4007TX does come with addition discrete graphics – ATI Mobility Radeon HD 6570. The notebook allows you to switch between the processor graphics and the discrete graphics. The processor graphics could be good for normal works while the discrete graphics can be used for the high end gaming. The advantage of not using the discrete graphics is that it will save the battery life.

The DV6-4007TX, comes at a hefty price north of $1,600, but still could be worth having if you are a gamer. It comes with ample 6 GB of RAM and a big 750 Giga Bytes of Hard drive.

You can enjoy watching movies with the Blu Ray player that comes with HP DV6-4007TX .

If graphics power is note your area you may be able to save some money by buying notebooks earlier than the Sandy Bridge. With the advent of the Sandy Bridge processors, we expect that the core i3 and core i5 should become the entry level processors and should be available in $500 or so.

As usual with all the notebooks, the HP DV6-4007TX does come with wired and wireless networking. We will come up with more details as they become available. In the meantime if you have any question or information about , please write in the comment section below.
