HP G62-363NR  is a 15.6 inch notebook powered by the Intel’s Pentium P6100, a dual core 2.00 GHz processor with 3 MB L3 Cache.  HP is known for bringing out notebooks at various price ranges suitable for different segment.  HP G62-363NR is an entry level notebook  at quite affordable price tag. This is one of the best budget laptop from HP with more advanced features.  This laptop comes with 15.6-inches captivating HD display along with ample features to cater every need of a user. Its comes with 4 GB RAM and 320 GB hard disk. Among other notable feature is the HDMI port that you can use to display the contents of the notebook on an external HDTV.

There are so many preloaded applications to improve the usage with this notebook. You may like to remove many of them that you will note likely use. There are many one-touch keys to facilitate easy working such as e-mail, the web, and many more.

Intel Pentium P6100 Processor Details:

This Intel Pentium P6100 that powers HP G62-363NR is an entry level processor for notebooks. This processor is clocked at 2.0 GHz. This processor  is similar to the core i3 processor but  lacks support for the hyperthreading. This processor also supports the Speedstep and for this it lost other power saving feature.

This P6100 performance is far better than its predecessor Celeron P4600. Its faster system bus is the major reason for this improved performance with P6100. Its increased Level 3 Cache is added advantage for this processor performance. Remember that there is no VT-X for this processor.

This processor gained integrated memory controller and Intel HD Graphics graphics card through its Arrandale architecture. Its low clock rate will let this processor to perform at low. The lack of Hyperthredaing and TurboBoost is another disadvantage for the performance of this processor.
