HP Officejet 6000 Wireless Printer Review

HP Officejet 6000 Wireless Printer is the latest printer from HP or Hewlett Packard costing 120 dollars. This printer is uses the HP thermal inkjet printing technology for printing. The print resolution of this printer for black and white content is 600 dots per inch and it scales up to 4800 X 1200 dots per inch for color content. The number of pages that can be printed with black color content is 32 pages per minute and for color content it is the same number. There is a built in wireless adapter present in this printer and it can support wireless network protocols IEEE 802.11 b and g. This when used as laser printer it can print at a speed of 7 pages per minute for both black and color contents.

There is one USB port, one Ethernet port and one Wireless connectivity available in HP Officejet 6000. This supports border less prints for the media dimensions of 8.5 inches X 11.7 inches. The type of media supported on this printer are the following legal, letter, A4, statement, envelopes, executive, 3 X 5 inches, 5 X 7 inches, 4 X 6 inches, 5 X 8 inches, 4 X 11 inches, 4 X 10 inches, 4 X 12 inches and 8 X 10 inches. This printer supports both dye type ink and pigment based ink. The dye type ink is used for color printing and the pigment based ink is used for black color content printing.

HP Officejet 6000 Wireless Printer has a duty cycle of 7000 pages per month. There is double side printing supported for legal, letter and A4 type sheets. Automatic paper sensing technology is in place, thus it can automatically detect the presence of paper in the input tray and can use it for printing. There is an inbuilt memory of 32 MB available in this printer which it uses to store the queued contents that needs to be printed.

HP Officejet 6000 Wireless printer has a processor which operates at a speed of 192 Mega hertz. This printer is compatible with windows XP service pack 4, windows XP home edition, windows 2000, windows vista both 32 bit and 64 bit and windows XP both 32 bit and 64 bit. This is also compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 and Mac OS X 10.5. The input tray can hold a maximum of 250 sheets and the output tray capacity is 50 sheets. The wireless features makes it a perfect fit to be the office printer, so that more people can interact with the printer and use the wireless connectivity to print documents easily. Papers, brochure paper, envelops, cards and labels can be printed using this printer. Simply this is the best printer for office usage.

    Also check out the Epson AcuLaser M4000N which prints upto 43ppm. Its absolutely smooth.
