HP Pavilion P6740F Desktop PC Review

HP Pavilion released a latest desktop PC with some good features at an affordable price. HP pavilion P6740F is the desktop, and it is released recently by the computer giant HP. This desktop is equipped with huge hard drive space and built-in wireless networking. HP tried their level best to bring this desktop to a reasonable price that can be affordable for all. This kind of efforts made this desktop to lose the suitability for 3D gaming needs. This inexpensive desktop got every feature that can be efficient with current needs. Equipped with a powerful processor as AMD Phenom II X4 955 Quad-Core processor, 1.5 TB hard drive, 8GB DDR3 RAM, 16X optical drive, ATI Radeon HD 4250 Integrated Graphics and 7.1 audio. Definitely there is nothing lacking with this desktop and satiates well for computing needs and entertainment needs successfully.

AMD Phenom II X4 955 Quad-Core Processor Details:

AMD Phenom II 955 processor is a Black Edition processor, which is more than just a 200MHz speed bumps as brings Socket AM3 support to the very top AMD’s desktop offerings. This processor is clocked 3.2 GHz. This processor is based on the 45nm ‘deneb’ core. This is coming with few tweaks and a new memory controller. This memory controller can support DDR2 and DDR3 memory kits successfully. This 3.2 GHz clock frequency is making AMD Phenom II x4 955 processor as the fastest quad-core processor of AMD. This processor is priced around $245. Comparatively this price is lesser than other popular quad-core processors such as Q9550, which is clocked at 2.83GHz. This processor got 6MB of L3 cache. Also, each individual core got 64KB of L1 Cache and 512 KB of L2 Cache too. This processor got 125 watt TDP rating.

    Thanks for sharing your story, Karina. I didn’t have any problems when I canceled my JungleDisk account, but I should note that I still use Amazon S3 and so I didn’t cancel my S3 account.

    I was a big follower too until this device lost all of my data. They have some data integrity issues they need to solve first before I would feel safe using this device again. Their support sucks since it’s always a guy by the name of Frank on the phone, the poor guy must be working 247.
