HP s5730y is the newest release in the slimlime series of Desktop. The HP s5730y is Powered by AMD’s dual core 3.4 GHz Phenom II X2 511 processor in its basic configuratiuon. However, you may upgrade it to any processor that fits in the AM3 socket, if required in future. The desktop comes with 4 GB of RAM and 750 GB of Hard Disk in its basic configuration.

The graphics is powered by ATI Radeon HD 3000 graphics. The HP s5730y comes with Multiformat DVD±RW/CD-RW drive with double-layer support. We have started seeing most desktops finally coming pre equipped with Wireless Nerworking and HP s5730y is not an exception. Ths is besides the wired 10/100 Base-T network connectivity.

As with other brander computers,HP s5730y comes pre installed with Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition. The desktop part number HP s5730y does not include the display but does include the USB keyboard and optical mouse. There are a large number of software that come preinstalled with this desktop. You may like to uninstalled most of them.

There is nothing very special about the HP s5730y. You just need to watch its price, compare and buy it. The processor is decent in performance with Phenom ii dual core at 3.4 GHz.
