The Intel’s Atom N2800 is a dual core processor intended for ultra low power operations. Its TDP rating is just 6.5 Watts. Take a look at the basic features for this processor.

It has been reported that the Atom N2800 will support 4 GB of DDR3 RAM, which essentially means that the besides the special Windows 7 started edition, it may also support the regular Windows 7 operating systems.

The on chip graphics controller and the integrated memory controller in the Atom N2800 will ensure lower cost of the system. The processor will compete with the AMD’s fusion Zacate E350 processor for entry level netbooks and notebooks.

    The Atom N2800 will be top of the line and expensive. You may like to consider the Atom N2600 ( when it launches).

    The processor has been launched and it looks like there are lot of notebooks with N2600 which has a lower 3.5 Watts TDP rating
