The Atom N455 has all the specifications same as the Atom N450, but also supports DDR3 memory in addition to the DDR2. It is a low power processor designed for mobility and high battery life. The netbooks and notebooks are useful only for basic tasks including surfing, emails, spreadsheet. The intel atom N450 has two more features worth mentioning – the first is the Integrated graphics using GMA3150 and the second is the Hyperthreading. The integrated graphics is not a high end graphics for gaming – it was not intended for that purpose. However, the integrated graphics does simplify the motherboard design and keeps the system cost and power consumption low while giving out decent graphics output.
