Intel Core i5-460M Benchmark
March 5th, 2011
The 2.53 GHz dual core i5-460M is a moderate performing processor. Its performance enhancement comes from the turbo boost feature, besides other common features of the core ix processors. The Table contains some of the benchmark results of the core i5-460M.
| Bench Mark | Result |
| Super Pi 2M Benchmark | 38 seconds |
| 3D Mark 06 CPU | 36 |
| Windows 7 Experience Index | 6.9 |
| Passmark | 2600 |
The benchmark in isolation does not mean anything worth while. It may be interesting to compare it with Intel core i3-380M which is also a 2.53 GHz, but WITHOUT turbo boost. So how much difference does the turbo boost makes ?
