Both, the Intel Core i5-460M as well as the core i3-380M have a clock frequency of 2.53 GHz, which makes them interesting for comparison. The core i3-380M does not has the turbo boost functionality, that  core i5-460M does. Obviously, the core i5-460M is a better processor than the core i3-380M. The only question is by how much.
