Kodak C180 or Kodak EasyShare C180 is a 10 megapixel camera newly available in the market. It has 3X optical zoom which enables good picture capturing. It is capable of taking good quality videos at VGA resolution.

Let’s concentrate on its component features now. Kodak C180 actually has 10.2 megapixel which can take good 30 X 40 inches photographs. Many cameras are available in the market which has higher resolutions, but we do need them very occasionally. We generally prefer 4 X 6” prints which is highly obtainable with this camera. 8 X 10” prints are highly achievable by using this camera. The optical zoom is 3 X with the use of its aspheric zoom lens which is 35mm. equivalent to 32- 96mm. However, with  this kind of lens not able to do much with telephotography or wide angle photography.

Kodak Easyshare C180 is also provided with 5X digital zoom to facilitate even more accurate picture and forget about the need to edit the pictures later on.

Kodak C180 camera has inbuilt storage of only 16 MB. This will not at all be enough for the buyer as it will accommodate only a few pictures. You have to purchase a SD/ SDHC card to support the camera’s external memory. The storage card can be bought as per your requirement.

The Kodak C180 has a 2.4 inch LCD viewfinder incorporated in it. This serves to be highly efficient in finding the right angle from where the photograph can be captured. You can make up your mind by seeing the image through it and be sure before clicking.

The Kodak C180 is built in such a way that even if you come across some jerk while handling it , the camera can reduce the blurring effect or cancel any distortion that had occurred.

Kodak C180 also gives you an option to take few video clips in addition. You can capture video in VGA resolution and share them to your friends. The audio is recorded simultaneously along with the video recording.

Editing options like cropping and resizing are also in the camera. The timer set in the camera helps you to take a picture of yourself even when no one is there to take one for you.

The only demerit that the camera has is that it does not come with rechargeable batteries like the cell phones. Nor is it provided with a charger. Even then it is a bargain as it costs only 59 dollars. That is really a surprise. This is a good gift option too.

Pros o Kodak C180

It has image stabilization feature

Shutter speed ranges from 0.5–1/1400 sec.

Manual ISO support ranges from 80-1250.

Light weight (110gms without battery)

Cons of Kodak Easyshare C180
