Kodak Easyshare C183 Review

Kodak Easyshare C183 digital camera is point to shoot digital camera which is 14 megapixel camera (effective). It has 1 / 2.3 in CCD sensor, which is general CCD sensor size for most compact camera or point to shoot camera.  The total CCD pixel is 4424 × 3302. So crispy large prints can be taken. The camera is available just under 60$ (59.99) at walmart (Black Friday offer).

Kodak Easyshare C183 offers 3X optical zoom which slightly lesser than the point to shoot camera available in the market. However, it has 5X advance digital zoom. So you can magnify image by 15X. C183 digital camera comes with inbuilt LCD of 3” with 230K dots.

Kodak 183 offers 32–96 mm focal length in terms of 35mm camera lens. So it is good for general photography. But for advance photography i.e. for wide-angle photography and telephotography you need advance camera with focal length of 28-116mm minimum.

The shutter speed of Kodak Easyshare C183 digital camera ranges from 1/8–1/1400 sec so you can take photo of moving object by freezing action or if you want to give feeling of movement you can take it as well. Though, you need to follow correct Shutter Speed. Kodak Easyshare C183 supports normal, macro, infinity autodocus modes. Auto focus controls are single as well as manual.

The C183 Kodak offers ranges of ISO sensitivity that is  ISO 80, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1000 for manual mode. In auto mode it offers ISO 80-320 thus camera can automatically sense the light sensitivity and adjust ISO according to, Thus for new learner it become easy to take photo in low light as well in bright light. To reduce blur or noise it comes with image stabilization feature

The exposure value it comes with ±2.0 EV with 1/3 EV steps so you can easily over expose or under expose the shot according to situation.

The whitebalance mode includes auto, daylight, tungsten, fluorescent, open shade.

Kodak Easyshare C183 digital camera integrated with 32 MB internal memory, the external storing device it supports is SD/SDHC card.

JPEG is the file format supported by Easyshare C183 for still photography and Motion JPEG and AVI for movie. It records movie with 30fps and it features movie in VGA mode (640 × 480). While recording movie the camera use to remain in autofocus mode and zoom is digital zoom.

Kodak Easyshare C183 can record movie continuously up to 4GB. For transferring file to PC it has one USB port.

One can directly share photo or movie by Share button, keeping the camera in review mode and it and it will posted in your FACEBOOK, YouTube, FLICKR or KODAK Gallery accounts or e-mail addresses you’ve added to your camera.
