There is good news for business owner and professional. A new Lenovo ultra portable laptop arrived with lots of features and portability. The model is Lenovo Thinkpad X100e. Now it obviously comes in mind what specialty this laptop has. Let us discuss about it.

Weighing about 3 pounds, Lenovo ThinkPad X100e comes with 11.6” WXGA Led Backlit display with resolution of 1366×768 pixels. The resolution is almost similar to other ultra portable notebooks. But compare to others, it has matte display which doesn’t reflect sunlight. It is indeed an added advantage.

Lenovo ThinkPad X100e equipped with low voltage 1.6GHz AMD Athlon Neo Single-Core MV-40 Mobile Processor for fast performance. At the same time it saves power also. Compare to Intel Atom, AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 processor provide more performance. ATI Radeon 3200 Graphics provides excellent video performance. So you can enjoy video at office along with your work without interruption.

The ThinkPad X100e laptop from Lenovo comes with 320 GB hard drive with 5400 revolutions per minute. The specification of hard drive of this ultra portable ThinkPad model is sufficient for business purpose. The RAM configuration is 2GB 667MHz DDR2 and operating system is Windows 7 professional, installed for professionals and business owners.

From the aspect of connectivity, Lenovo ThinkPad X100e offers satisfactory features. Especially when you are on travel it never let you down. It has power ports, VGA out on its rear. The left side contain two USB 2.0 ports Ethernet, audio jack along with heat vent. The right edge consists of 4 in 1 media card reader, 1 USB 2.0 port and Kensington Lock. It also has 0.3 megapixel web camera

Lenovo Thinkpad X100e comes with catchy Midnight Black and Heatwave Red chassis with smooth finish. The keyboard is full-sized and spill resistant. Key caps are a little curved and raised sufficiently so that one can type at ease. It comes with signature Trackpoint pointing stick. However, in compare to other similar laptop, it has an additional pair of mouse button incorporated in touchpad for better functionality. The 6 cell battery gives 4 hours of battery back which is not sufficient for a business laptop. The price of the Lenovo Thinkpad X100e is $569.
