Panasonic Lumix DMC-G10 Review

Panasonic recently unveiled a new digital camera Panasonic Lumix DMC-G10 which is a interchangeable lens camrea. The design of the camera is not much complicated compare to other DSLR; even a newbie can handle it easily. The digital camera is successor of DMC-G2. It weighs only 336 gms and has compact build.  The machine comes with fixed LCD display instead of movable one. It seems that the company decided to fix the LCD display position keeping in mind about the beginner.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-G10 comes with 12.1 megapixel live MOS censor which is CMOS type of censor consumes low power compare to CMOS censor and has double light absorbing surface. When comes to noise the live MOS is less noisy than CMOS. When compare to CCD, live MOS has higher sensitivity and greater color reproducing capability. Thus, one can take crisp pictures in dark as well.

The lens kit of DMC-G10 comprises of14-42mm/F3.5-5.6 ASPH which is equivalent to 28-84mm in terms of 35mm photography .You can take wide angle photos to telephoto.  So whether you are shooting array of pictures, from portrait to landscape, the lens will perform good job.

Another remarkable feature of Panasonic GMC-10 is itshigh-speed Contrast Auto Focus System. When comes to memory, the machine comes with SD/MMC Memory Card

The Panasonic DMC-G10 incorporates dual full time live view technology that enable you to work with both LCD and LVF (Live view finder).Due to this techlongy user will get sufficient space to shoot as per his her wish. Thus it become easy to shoot photos movies with various brightness levels.  Even the photo taken in dull light becomes crisp like a day light photo.

As told earlier the lens of Lumix DMC-G10 is competent to take various scenes with different zoom level as the lens is capable of shooting focal range of 14 mm to 42 mm which is similar to 28-84mm of 35mm photography. But when comes to telephotography it will work below par. As it is intended for beginners we can ignore the point. The Lumix DMC-G10 is comprises of mega image stabilizing lens so risk of damaging of photo due to camera shake will be reduced

The DMC-G10 digital camera incorporates high speed continuous shooting mode which support 30 frames per second. The digital camera can record high definitio movies in MPEG with a max resolution of 1280 x 720p.

As the camera is intended for beginners so there is Advance shooting mode. Once user  activate the iA (intelligent Auto) mode, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G10 camera can automatically select the most suitable scene mode for you among six modes. So that the photo taken will be the perfect combination of right focal length and brightness and user will get crispy photo. So one can take photo easily whenever he want to capture the moment  of life. You don’t need to be a professional photographer.

The LCD is of three inches and comprises of   460,000 dots

Panasonic Lumix GMC-10 comes at a price tag of $599 which is not at all affordable but for those who want to learn professional photography; this camera is good device to start with.
