Pentium P6100 Vs Pentium P6200
The Pentium P6100 is clocked at 2.00 GHz while the Pentium P6200 is clocked at 2.13 GHz or 6.25% higher than the Pentium P6100. You should therefore expect a performance improvement of the order of 5% in P6200 in the CPU intensive tasks ( as compared to the Pentium P6100).
The launch of the Pentium P6000 Series from Intel seems to be an attempt to encash the “Pentium” brand name that it has nurtured over the years. The Pentium P6000 series is the Hyperthreading disabled Arrandale processors. Disable the Hyperthreading from the core i3 processor and you have the Pentium P6xxx processor.
The Table below lists out the benchmark comparison of the Pentium P6100 and Pentium P6200.
|Benchmark||Pentium P6100||Pentium P6200|
|Super Pi 2M (Lower in better)||50 seconds||47 seconds|
|Windows 7 Experience||5.8|
|Pass Mark Score||1525||1670|
|3D Mark 06 CPU Score||1840||1950|
You may also like to notice that the Pentium P6100 and the Pentium P6200 have integrated graphics controller. The integrated graphics controllers in both the CPUs have same basic frequency at 500 MHz. Notice that some websites mention turbo boost frequency for Pentium P6200 incorrectly at 766 MHz. Both the processors have same turbo frequency for graphics at 666 MHz.
