Sony is about to release the entry level Digital SLR Camera – Alpha A290.
The Sony A290 model has some notable upgrade from A290 to A230 – most noticeable being boost from 10.2 megapixel to 14 megapixel. From the specifications, here are some of the the features
* The lens is 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 SAM
* A bright 2.7-inch LCD screen
* The ISO speed goes all way to 3200
* It can shoot upto 2.5fps
* Provides image stabilization using SteadyShot
* Contains Sony proprietary MemoryStick Pro Duo as well as SD/SDHC memory card slots
The camera is expected to be available at around $529.00 for the kit. This is slightly more that what Sony A230 costs in US. At starred reviews we look forward to the Sony Alpha 290 US release.
