Sony DSC-W330 Digital Camera Review

Let us start with the specification of the Sony DSC-W330 Digital Camera. We will cover only the relevant specification. So here it goes

* 14.1-megapixel resolution
* 3.0-inch big LCD screen (230k pixels)
* 26mm Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens
* 4x optical zoom
* SteadyShot Image Stabilization reduces blur; iAuto mode automatically optimizes camera settings
* Can capture a smile using Smile Shutter technology
* Card slot for optional Memory Stick Duo media and SD media

This camera improves upon the Sony DSC-W310 by using 14.1 Mega pixel in place of the 12 Megapixel and by providing a larger 3 inch LCD in place of 2.7 inch LCD. Additionally it includes 26mm Carl Zeiss Lens.

The camera is available for $159 at the time of writing at bestbuy and amazon.

Few Concerns

The camera has serious lag between pressing of the button and the capture of the picture. The quality of the picture itself is decent. For charging the camera you will need a separate charger. Many cameras today allow charging by hooking a charger directly.
