Sony Vaio VPCF131FM/B comes with large 16.4 inch screen and it powered by Intel core i5-480M, a dual core processor from Intel clocked at 2.66 GHz. The Core i5-480M is moderately powered processor with turbo boost feature and for this reason the Sony Vaio VPCF131FM is good not only for your daily computing needs but also for moderate computing requirements.

Sony Vaio VPCF131FM comes with 4 GB of RAM and large 750 GB of Hard Disk. It most notable feature include the 2 USB 3.0 ports. The USB 3.0 works at around 10 times the speed of the current USB 2.0 ports. If you plan to use any USB 3.0 port, for example, an external USB 3.0 hard disk drive, it could be another reason why you would be willing to buy Sony Vaio VPCF131FM.

There are couple of more features that makes this notebook worth consideration. One of them is the graphics engine that is powered by NVIDIA GeForce 310M graphics. Notice that the core i5-480M does come with integrated Intel HD graphics which could still be useful for all entry level graphics needs. But, the addition of the NVIDIA GeForce 310M graphics, makes this notebook worth playing some of the games at low and medium resolutions. For example, it will allow you to play StarCraft 2 and low and medium resolutions.

Integrated Bluetooth and support for the WiMax could be the next reason why you would prefer this notebook over an entry level laptop. With WiMax you get broadband while on the go. Of course, you will need the subscription.

As part of the Sony Vaio VPCF131FM Review, we present the key features of this notebook.
