A note on the size of TV and viewing distance

The 65 inch diagonal size translate to 56.6 inch width at an aspect ratio of 16:9. We recommend that you sit at a distance at least twice the width of the TV, which in this case translate to 113.2 inches or roughly 9 and a half feets. For a more comfortable and less eye straining we recommend a distance thrice the width or about 14 feet. Note between 9 and a half feet to 14 feet you will find a ball park number which will find a pleasing viewing distance. If your space does not allow get a smaller TV. If you have already purchased the TV make sure that you position it such that there is a distance of at least nine and a half feet between the TV and the viewer.
