Tank Looks forward to 2012 Grammy

Tank was one of singers nominated in the 2011 Grammy Awards. Tanks now looks forward to the a win in the 2012 Grammys. The 35 year old R&B singer is expects to perform his best in the coming days and is expected to come with more albums.

The 2012 Grammy awards are expected to be given in the last week of 2012 February. Following were the nominees for the 2011 Grammy awards for Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals

“Take My Time” — Chris Brown & Tank
“Love” — Chuck Brown, Jill Scott & Marcus Miller
“You’ve Got A Friend” — Ronald Isley & Aretha Franklin
“Shine” — John Legend & The Roots
“Soldier Of Love” — Sade

The award eventually went to “Soldier Of Love”


During his Childhood, Tank was an athelete at the Crossland High School. During his college days, he was offered to play college football. Tanks instead preffered to dedicate his time in music. He got an opportunity to sing vocals for Gunuwine.

In 2001, the debut album of Tank – the “Force of Nature” reached in R&B top Ten. His second album “One Man” was released in 2002.His most popular Album was “Sex Love & Pain which reached top position in 2007 US R& B Ranking.

A note on R&B

R&B, an abbreviation for Rhythm and blues stands for Aftrican American Music. It originated in 1940s and its genre was originally targeted for the urban African Americans.
