The 2012 Acura RDX is on the horizon ready to be released to the public in the near future but no specific date for release has been set yet. Acura usually debuts their new cars in the fall so it may be safe to say that is when the new 2012 Acura RDX will debut but the public will just have to wait and see. Acura has a policy that if there are any major design overhauls, they will be done on a six year cycle. The model, Acura RDX, had a major design overhaul a few years back and since it has not been more than six years, there are not going to be any major changes, and it will look almost identical to the previous year.
Although not much can be said about the 2012 Acura RDX model, if you want to know anything about the car, you can study the models from previous years as all models are based on a few simple things. They are always given a good marks for performance, they are reliable, and normally come with a six-year, 70,000 mile power train warranty plus a basic warranty. The new Acura RDX will also come with the standard antilock brakes, vehicle stability assistance and a rear-view camera. We must also not forget the six airbags.
This Acura’s first crossover, compact SUV and it gets from 17-20 MPG in the city and 22-26 MPG on the highway. The Acura RDX comes with a standard five-speed automatic transmission. It seats five, has automatic climate control and all the power features that are expected. It is also one of the few turbocharged gasoline engines from Honda. The Acura RDX is a five door SUV.
This is a great family car, and the new 2012 Acura RDX will be one of the leaders in sales when it makes it debut.
