The Jayco Jay Feather EXP 232
The Jayco Company has been in business since 1968 and is located in the heart of Amish country in Indiana. Lloyd J. Bontrager started the company on his farm in two chicken houses and a barn. By the end of 1968 his company had 15 employees and had sold 132 fold-down camping trailers. Today there are 1,600 employees in their company and over 25,000 people join their “extended family” of customers each year.
The Jayco Jay Feather EXP 232 is an expandable travel trailer. The Jay Feather weighs only 4055 pounds, which can be easily towed by most vehicles. It is also an all-around travel trailer that can also be used any season. It has an a/c for those hot summer outings. If it chilly outside this travel trailer comes with heated mattress pads and a furnace. Going on a vacation in a travel trailer used to be confined to the summer months but no longer with the Jay Feather.
Inside you will find microwave, cd stereo, a gas/electric hot water heater, is spacious and has plenty of storage. There is also an outdoor shower. Inside this travel trailer you will find a double bed that pulls out on one end, a queen size bed that pulls out on the other end, a full size sofa, and a double bed that pulls out on the side for sleeping. There is also a small dining table with a bench on either side that is across from the sofa. If there is not enough sitting space at the table, you can always use TV trays in front of the sofa.
The Jay Feather offers a small full bathroom, microwave, a two door refrigerator/freezer and there is a space on the front tongue to hold 2-20 pound propane tanks. There is also a nice space between the sink and stove on the kitchen counter. One of the drawbacks of the Jayco Jay Feather EXP 232 is that for the heated mattresses is that in order for them to work there has to be a way to hook into electric.
If you and your family love to camp, Jayco Jay Feather EXP 232 could be the ideal travel trailer to purchase.
