Toshiba 40FT1U 40″ Class 1080p 60Hz LCD HD Television is the new television from Toshiba, the Japanese multinational who has their foot prints everywhere in the world. This television has a screen size of 40 inches and can display high resolution video of the order 1080 pixels. This television works with a refreshing rate of 60 hertz. This is built by using the LCD technology this is priced close to 550 dollars and is one of the fast moving television that is there in the market.

The LCD technology has reduced the thickness to 3.5 inches alone thus making this television ultra slim and eye catchy. There is an USB port available on this television, thus the user can use USB plug and play features. The digital camera or USB storage devices can be used by the user and the contents of the same can be shown on this television. The power consumed by the television in standby mode is only 0.6 watt but this is not energy star certified as the power consumption in normal mode is more than the stated requirement. Channel labeling feature and sleep timer features are available but there is no alarm timer feature supported. There is no media card slot or Ethernet port, so there is no Internet connectivity and also there is no wireless support also available in this television.
