Toshiba Satellite C655D-S5136 is a 15.6 inch notebook powered by the AMD’s Dual core P340 processor clocked at 2.2 GHz. It comes with 3 GB of RAM and 320 GB of hard disk. Its configuration makes it positioned for an entry level notebook. Toshiba suggests and MSRP price of $463.

The graphics is powered by the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250, which can be classified as an entry level graphics card and you will be able to play some of the games requiring graphics in low resolution.

Other than that the Toshiba C655D-S5136 has everything that you expect in a notebook. It has a DVD writer and supports wired and wireless networking. On the software side Toshiba Satellite C655D-S5136 comes preloaded with Windows 7 Home premium Edition. It comes with a large number of Toshiba’s preloaded software. You may like to uninstall many of these that you do not need. The Toshiba Satellite C655D-S5136 also comes with trial version of the Norton Anti Virus. You may like to uninstall the Norton Anti Virus, just before its expiry and install the free AVG Anti Virus. Make sure you do not intsall the AVG tool bar when you install AVG.
