Toshiba Satellite L655-S5147 Review – Low cost 15.6″ notebook

Toshiba Satellite L655-S5147 is the answer to the customer’s quest for a low cost entry level notebook, that will let them do the home and office computing. More than 90% of the tasks performed on a notebook include the email checking, surfing, word and excel sheet editing – something that the Pentium P6200 powered ( 2.13 GHz, dual core, 3 MB L3 cache) Satellite L655-S5147 is more than sufficient for. In order to keep the cost down, Toshiba has populated only 3 GB of RAM ( most other notebooks on the L655 series come with 4 GB RAM) and the hard disk in only 250 GB. It also strips down the HDMI output that many other L655 series notebooks come with. The result – a MSRP price of $473 according to Toshiba.
