Toshiba Satellite L655D-S5164WH comes in elegent white color, one reason why Toshiba has priced it $10 higher than the grey part Toshiba Satellite L655D-S5164. As you may have already guessed, the suffix WH in L655D-S5164WH denotes the white color. Other than the color, this notebook has exactly the same specification and the functionality as that of the L655D-S5164 notebook.

As part of the Toshiba Satellite L655D-S5164WH review, we present the key specifications at a glance, extracted from the toshiba’s detailed specifications of the Toshiba L655D-S5164WH

– AMD Phenom II Quad Core P960 processor (1.8 GHz)
– 4 MB DDR3 RAM, 640 GB Hard disk
– 15.4″ LCD screen ( 1366 x 768 resolution)
– HDMI output
– Wired and wireless networking
– 2 USB 2.0 and one USB/eSATA output
– Integrated webcam
– DVD writer.

As you can see, the Toshiba L655D-S5164WH comes with everything you need in moderate performance notebook. The only potential weak point is the graphics driver. The ATI Radeon HD 4250 is a decent graphics card which will let you play many games at lower resolutions, but, if you are looking at a very high end game, that needs to be played at its best resolution, you will be disappointed here.

On the positive sides, the Toshiba Satellite L655D-S5164WH boasts a fast quad core processor and come with HDMI output. It should have decent performance in multiprocessing and multithreaded environment. The HDMI output is a decent feature if wish to display the contents of the notebook on an external LCD HDTV or a projector.
