Unless you need very heavy computing the notebook is good for you in terms of computing power. It may be worthwhile to spend some time on the individual components of the Satellite L675D-S7105.

As mentioned, the Athlon ii P340 processor, that powers the Satellite L675D-S7105 is a dual core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz. It can me categorised as and entry level to mid level processor for home and office computing needs. It is slower than the AMD’s Turion ii and Phenom ii processors since it has only 64 bit Floating Point Unit (FPU) as compared to 128 bit FPU in Turion ii and Phenom ii. If the performance of the processor is something that interests you, we suggest that you take a look at the AMD Athlon ii P340 processor.

Memory and Hard Disk

The Toshiba Satellite L675D-S7105 comes with 4 GB of DDR3 memory – absolutely no complaint here. The hard disk is 320 GB, usually what you get in an entry level notebook.

Display with HDMI

One of the things that impresses in the Satellite L675D series is the display, the resolution of the display and the HDMI output. It makes a complete multimedia entertainment PC, that you can also hook to an external LCD HDTV. The modest resolution of 1600x 900 ( most entry and even moderate to high end notebooks come only with 1366 x 768 resolution) in the Toshiba Satellite L675D-S7105 gives you crisp video. Of course, the notebook will not let you play high end games, at least not in their best resolutions. The Toshiba Satellite L675D-S7105 is not designed for gaming.

The Toshiba Satellite L675D-S7105 does come with most other common features that makes up a notebook. It has an integrated webcam. The wired and wireless networking features are part of the notebook as do the 2 USB connector and a USB/ eSATA combo connector.
